Today’s stop is Curaçao. The Dutch influence is obvious and the local story (as on Aruba) is that a governor always had migraines and ordered colors be used to paint all white buildings. The idea was that all the white was causing glare, inducing the migraines. Whether it worked or not, it makes for pretty architecture.
We hopped another open air bus for a $20 tour of the island. Unlike the similar tour in Aruba, this one includes beer. :)
We stopped at a beautiful little beach called Seaquarium Beach. We’re assuming there’s an aquarium nearby. In the meantime, we are enjoying some tasty Curaçao piña coladas.
