My multiple interests cause me blogging conflict. I never seem to be able to decide on one blog focus and stick to it, often trying to combine my multiple interests into 1 blog. That hasn't worked out so well for me in the past and my blogging has been inconsistent.
Aside from my hobbies of travel, photography and art, and my career field of User Experience, I do have one personal passion. I don't know if "passion" is the right word, but the idea is central to my beliefs about living:
Keeping life simple and uncomplicated leads to a happier heart.
The number of blogs out there touting the simple life can overwhelm you with ideas of minimizing your possessions and schedule to live a simpler life. I get it. I look at my own life and see how there have been times where it was filled with a schedule I couldn't keep up with and things taking up physical and mental space I couldn't get rid of. I've strived on my own to clear this up with some success, but am always looking to do more.
I'm going to stick to this idea of simple/happy with this blog and write without overanalyzing my writing. I'm not going to strive to be perfect before I hit "publish". You know why? Because I know that striving to be perfect before I publish has kept me from ever hitting the "publish" button too many times.
I fill my life with travel, photography, and art. It all adds to the "happy" part of my life as I work through the rest. I'll continue to share my travels, photography and thoughts on life here.
Welcome to my journey. Maybe it's yours as well.
